It costs a great deal to feed and house the birds and animals each year, therefore, to help the continuance of the rescue work we undertake, we hope you may be interested in more close involvement with an animal or bird - although we can't let you take them home!

The money you give to the animal you adopt goes directly towards that particular animal’s food and shelter.

Would you like to adopt an animal or bird?

An adoption can be made as an individual, a school class or a group. An animal adoption also makes an ideal gift for an animal enthusiast for a birthday or Christmas present or even as a gift for Easter.

Adoptions can be made in units of £10. For example one unit would feed a small animal for a whole year, but a larger animal may cost as much as 10 units.

There is no limit to how many you can buy. As the main aim of the centre is to rehabilitate animals and birds and release them back to the wild, the creatures are subject to change.

They could be released, become sick or old and die, therefore we cannot guarantee the adoption for a single animal but you can adopt one of a group or breed.

In return for each £10 donated you will receive a complimentary entrance ticket, an adoption certificate and a plaque on the appropriate aviary or enclosure.
