The centre relies heavily on public contributions, so fundraising is a vital part of the centres continued operation. Without fundraising, donations and entrance fees, we would not be able to continue our work.
From time to time we organise fundrasing events to raise extra money for improvements or repairs to the Centre. (See below for upcoming fundraisers or see upcoming events).
Some of the people who help out also do some of their own fundraising that goes towards the rescue centre. One of these helpers is Michaela and she has her own corner here on our site which you can visit here.
Shane Hunter
On the 31st August 2005, Shane Hunter, brother of rescue centre volunteer Emma Hunter, raised a whopping £212 by having his Mohican hairdo cut off.
