On Saturday 22nd July 2006 two courageous men suffered immense pain in order to help lots of cute fuzzy, scaly and feathery animals at the centre.

Steven Tams and Tony Johnson got lots of sponsors before putting themselves under the wax and have their legs de-fuzzed. Victoria Knapper was kind enough to give up her time to wax their legs, and even allowed the boys to get their own back on her (providing they both made donations of course).

Thank you to every one who participated in the Sponsored Leg Wax and everyone who sponsored one of our valiant participants or made a donation. All money raised will go towards the purchase of a security system at the centre.
